To identify appropriate energy savings opportunities, Protrade evaluates a building’s sensible and latent heat loads, existing HVAC equipment systems, and building shell characteristics against a backdrop of the historical energy usage at the property. Recommendations often will include upgrades of specific equipment systems, such as the conversion of mini-splits to inverter-driven VRF systems, the introduction of humidity control, improved insulation (especially in chilled water systems), recovery ventilation systems, and HVAC or Building Management controls.
